Best Wishes to All

If you celebrate Christmas, then Merry Christmas to you and yours. Best wishes to all who celebrate other holiday traditions this time of year. I hope everyone finds a moment of peace and joy during what can be a hectic time of year. Whatever it is that may be adding to your stress in regards to the holiday, it will be okay. I try to remind myself that the kids don’t notice the things that I worry myself with when it comes to the details. If I stop and take a breath, then I know that waking up with the ones they love to give and receive hugs and smiles is what they will remember most years from now. So, when my heart skipped a beat yesterday as I realized that I forgot to get candy for the stockings and Target and my local grocery store had absolutely nothing I thought Oh no! So much for the candy cane shapped container filled with M&M’s or red and green wrapped Reese’s cups. I took that breath and thought okay local pharmacy whatcha got for me. Whatever it is I know it will be fine. So, I grabbed about 3 holiday decorated candy items (it was slim pickings but I was relieved to see anything on the shelf at this point) and I knew as I checked out at the register that they wouldn’t even care if I stuck a regular looking candy bar in there and enjoyed a little smile before the next mini-problem…what’s for dinner!
